When I was born my mother was very happy. Sadly her owner didn’t feel the same way, and when I got a little bigger he drove me outside the city and left me underneath a big tree. I was so scared that I didn’t dare to move. In the night a bigger dog came, and he was very angry since I was sitting underneath his tree, he said. I thought he was going to kill me when a lady came running to my rescue. She had heard me screaming and she lifted me up, and took me away from the big mean dog. The following day she took me to the Halkida Animal Shelter. As soon as I got there I met many other puppies, and they all cheered me up. Today I am sharing my kennel with four other dogs. We all have in common that we all suffer from Leishmania. The disease makes my skin scale a lot, but I don’t see it as a problem. As long as I get my medication I feel very good, and I can play as much as I want.
